Helm's Deep

Rain falls on the Hornburg. Walk the causeway beneath the Deeping Wall, pass the great gate, climb the inner ramp to the courtyard, take the stairs to the parapet walk — and find the dark mouth of the Glittering Caves beneath the mountain. Fires burn in the valley below.
